Election Tribunal: Presidency Believes Atiku Has Enough Evidence To Convince Tribunal Judges’— Buhari’s Aide Affirms

The recently concluded general elections in Nigeria, has left some answered questions in the minds of many, as regards who won the February 19 elections in Nigeria. The result was outrightly rejected by the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

According to Vanguard, President Buhari crossed the 15 million mark in votes scored in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

He polled 15,191,847 votes, winning in 19 of the states, after the result of Rivers was added. His main challenger Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party scored 10,782, 007 votes and won 17 states and Abuja.

In this light, with the result currently being challenged at the tribunal, The presidential election tribunal kicked off on the 15th of May, with all involved parties present at the tribunal.

Furthermore, the information made available to 247ureports.com indicated that the presidency may not have been settled and collected.

According to one of the aides to the President who spoke on the phone, the presidency remains quite unsettled over the presidential tribunal to the extent that it believes Abubakar Atiku may have all the evidence to theoretically convince the tribunal panel of judges that President Buhari did not legally win the presidential elections of 2019.

The source notes the presidency is aware Atiku has yet to lose a legal battle in his political career. “While he was Vice President to Obasanjo, President Obasanjo brought thirteen [13] separate legal cases against Atiku. The source indicated that Atiku would never go into a legal battle without his evidence being waterproof and fireproof. “He is an institution” that cannot be easily pushed over.

Months after his arrest, building complexes at one of his business premises was demolished by the federal government.
