LAGOS – Hon. Hakeem Bamgbola, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has hailed the emergence of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, saying he would use his office to move Nigeria forward on the path of greatness.

The APC chief who praised President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s National leader, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the party for their role in the success of the new Speaker also commended the lawmakers-elect who overwhelmingly voted for Gbajabiamila during the election.
He assured them that Gbajabiamila would lead them with the fear of God.
He also expressed gratitude to the leaders of the party in Lagos state and the people of Lagos Central senatorial district who solidly stood behind Gbajabiamila despite the setback he suffered when he vied for the exalted office in 2015.
“I am confident Gbajabiamila will not disappoint Nigerians who were ably represented by their lawmakers in the House of Reps who overwhelmingly voted for him. He knows what is at stake and he will bring his wealth of experience to bear in administering the affairs of the House,” he said.
