A mum was filmed trying to save her daughter, eight, after she was abducted by a stranger.
Salem Sabatka had been walking with her mother in Fort Worth, Texas, when she was snatched at around 6.38 pm yesterday, according to NBCDFW.
She has since been found safe and well, with police confirming they had arrested a man.
Fort Worth police tweeted: ‘#UPDATE Salem has been found SAFE!!!! Suspect is in custody.’
Authorities had issued an amber alert for Salem, who was taken in the Ryan Place neighbourhood.
A CCTV video filmed from a resident’s home showed her mother trying to get into a car after she had been snatched in the street.
The alleged kidnapper, who was described as a light skinned black male of skinny build, pushed the mum out before speeding away.

The amber alert stated the man, who was described as being balding and having no facial hair, had taken the girl by force.
Authorities had been searching for grey a Sedan he was believed to have been driving.
