Alexis Sanchez willing to take pay cut after Manchester United allowed him to leave on loan
Alexis Sanchez is willing to take a pay cut in order to force through a move away from Manchester United this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The Chile international has struggled to find his best form since joining United and is now desperate to leave Old Trafford during the upcoming transfer window.
Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich has already travelled to Italy to hold talks with Juventus and Inter over a potential deal.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Felicevich has received a promise from United that Sanchez will be allowed to leave on loan this summer. And United would also be open to including a right-to-buy option in any deal involving the Chilean.
But the report also claims that Sanchez, whose £400,000-a-week salary is topped up by several incentives including appearance and goal bonuses, is willing to take a pay cut to help his move go through.
Felicevich is also understood to have told Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici that United would be ready to subsidise part of Sanchez’s wages if they took him on loan.
