Prosecco is still hugely popular – marvellous to blend with cordials and purées. Lambrusco can be fun for a festival of flavour. English sparklers continue to dazzle: the darling of the bubbly world is currently Pét-Nat. I tasted Vagabond’s English pink ‘Pét-Not’ and bought some on the spot.
Splashing out on Champagne can be grand, but look for Crémant for similar wines at stunning prices. Whatever you pop, I hope it makes you Fizz.
